Join us for a truly inspirational few days of learning, reflection and musical rejuvenation in a stunning setting. The 2027 Summer School will offer the perfect opportunity to recharge your batteries, challenge your thinking, refine your practice and connect with wonderful colleagues — all within the beautiful grounds of our host school, complete with tennis courts, swimming pool, gym and excellent en-suite accommodation.
Professional development lies at the heart of the European String Teachers Association, and each year the Summer School brings together an all-star faculty of internationally respected pedagogues, performers and practitioners. Our presenters share a wealth of experience, new ideas and deep pedagogical insight into teaching and playing string instruments.
The 2027 programme promises a rich and stimulating mix of workshops, keynote lectures, demonstrations, practical sessions and concerts, designed to support teachers at every stage of their professional journey. Participants typically range from early-career teachers to established educators, creating a supportive learning community where ideas and experiences can be shared freely.
Residential attendance is highly recommended to experience the full benefit of the event, but local participants are welcome to commute if needed. Many attendees tell us that the conversations that begin over breakfast or while exploring the beautiful grounds become unexpected highlights of their time with us.
